Welcome to the historic village of Fagervik, Finland.
Founded as an ironworks community between 1646 and 1902.
The historic area has been preserved to this day.
Built in 1773, the beautiful Fagervik Manor dominates the site.
A picturesque church stands high on the shores of Lake Bruksträsket, Founded in 1737.
As picturesque as can be, the authentic wooden workers’ houses are still in use.
The area is one of Finland’s national landscapes.
The manor house, church and ironworks have been privately owned by the Hising family since 1723.
That makes this village unique in all of Finland.
