Hello again dear scene walker.
Finally there are warm spring days in Finland.
The sun is shining brightly and it’s colorful.
Today i want to show you around the Roihuvuori Cherry Tree Park in Helsinki, Finland.
It is one of Helsinki’s most popular locations in spring and the scene of the Hanami Festival.
The park is known and famous for its many cherry trees, new trees are planted every year.
Spring is a very special time in Finland, although it brings many changes.
After 6 months of dark and cold winter, most people have become accustomed to wearing warm clothes.
Going from winter to spring is the most “brutal” change, mentally and physically.
Including myself, i’ve only been able to film 2 times in the last 2 months.
The other walk was the Easter walk about 1 month ago.
As the temperature rises, so does the mass of people.
Maybe a bit out of the comfort zone for a native Finn.
Groups of people from different cultures came to enjoy the cherry blossoms.
It is busy and loud, yet peaceful.
Thanks for watching, keep it safe and until the next scene.
