In this week’s video i decided to go for a quick walk in Porvoo.
It’s the day before i left on holiday outside of Finland.
Spring is now in its most beautiful stage, i really love this time of year.
Bright colors, almost fluorescent by the sun, the trees and grass are not yet overgrown and perhaps most importantly: there are hardly any flying insects around (they will come soon).
So you might be thinking: Porvoo again?
The answer is quite simple: i wanted a tourist city close to Helsinki.
People traveling to Helsinki will almost always make a day trip to Porvoo, it is a city not to be missed when visiting Southern Finland.
Of course there are other beautiful authentic cities in the south, but they require a longer journey from the capital Helsinki.
