Walking on Beautiful islands in Helsinki, Finland
3D Audio 4K UHD
Hello
Today i can welcome you to the island ‘Tarvo’.
It is a small rocky island on the border of Helsinki and Espoo.
It seems to have a beautiful nature trail by the sea that connects to Munkkiniemi Beach in Helsinki.
The island’s name, Tarvo, has been in use since the early 18th century.
Although the people of this region mainly spoke Swedish, it’s very likely that the name comes from Finnish.
Referring to Deer, moose, Ox or other large animal.
We are indulged by many blooming flowers.
The island is located in a narrow strait, where moose can cross the bay to the island.
Fishermen used to live on the island.
Two villas were also built here in the 1920s.
I will walk with you until we reach Munkkiniemi Beach.
I wish you a pleasant walk and hope to see you in the next scene.
Thank you for joining
Together we learn, explore and walk through the scenes.
