Autumn Binaural Rain Walk in Ancient Castle and Lake, Finland
3D Audio 4K UHD
Welcome dear scene walker.
I hope you came prepared, no problem if you didn’t, because i’ve saved a spot for you.
It’s almost unbelievable, but i finally managed to record another rain walk.
If i remember correctly, the last time was November 2021.
The summer season is coming to an end again, as autumn is eager to show its face.
Do you like autumn?
Today we are welcomed to Hämeenlinna, which translates to Häme Castle.
However, the ancient building (castle) that we see here is not Häme Castle, but Aulanko Castle.
It is a granite castle that predates the much larger Häme Castle.
The age of the fortress is not known with certainty.
During the Swedish conquest, known as the Second Crusade to Finland (13th century), the castle was presumably destroyed.
After which the Swedes started building the much larger Häme Castle nearby.
Aulanko Castle is part of a chain of ancient castles in the Häme region.
At least 3 other ancient castles were built in the area.
However, Aulanko Castle is the only still visible and fully accessible castle.
Today it is used as a venue for a youth theater for children.
Located in the Aulanko district, Hämeenlinna.
Known for its wooded nature reserve, Hotel Scandic Aulanko, a spa, golf courses, Hugo Adventure Park and riding stables.
Aulanko’s landscapes were the source of inspiration for Jean Sibelius’ work on Finlandia.
Surrounded by Lake Aulanko, created at the turn of the 19th century.
A nearly 6 km long outdoor trail runs around Lake Aulanko.
The landscapes range from lush bushes to sheer cliffs.
The lake is home to fish species such as pike, perch, whitefish and rainbow trout.
Thanks for joining and taking a walk with me.
Enjoy and take good care of yourself.
PS: at minute 42:05 i made a cinematic closing 🎵
