Winter’s Day Walk in Hamari Village, Finland
4K UHD
Welcome dear viewers.
I don’t think i need to mention it anymore, there seems to be a little bit of snow in Finland.
Today we are walking in the village of Hamari. Located inside the Porvoo region.
It is currently 11 in the morning and with a freezing temperature of -12°c.
A few days ago, a snow storm swept across Southern Finland, turning the landscape into a white fairytale.
We are joined with our friend in space, the beautiful sun. (Notice the Halo ring around the sun)
A sun Halo, also known as the ‘ 22° halo ‘, which appears as a large ring around the Sun with a radius of about 22°.
From around 14 minutes into the video it’s possible to see the Sun Halo.
About the Village Hamari.
Located inside the Porvoo region. Mainly useful for its harbor.
Shipyard operations in the village began in the 1730s, when the cargo of sailboats was unloaded in the port.
A steam sawmill was built in the 1870s. However, it ceased operations in 1955.
Not much more is known in the course of history.
If you want to see Hamari in the summer, look for the link in the top right corner of your screen, or in the description below.
