Tampere, Finland 🎄 Magical Christmas Market, JOULUTORI
4K UHD
A wonderful evening, dear viewer!
Welcome to the Christmas Market of Tampere, Finland’s third largest city and the largest inland centre in the Nordics.
This year marks the 13th time of the annual Christmas Market. The festivities are open between 27 November and 22 December, everyday from 11 am to 7 pm.
Many artists and craftspeople present and sell their unique Finnish artworks and products.
It’s a great place to find good souvenirs and Christmas Presents!
The Christmas Market is becoming more & more international, with vendors arriving from Essen and Chemnitz, Germany.
The city of Tampere is wedged between 2 lakes, Näsijärvi and Pyhäjärvi. These lakes differ in level by 18 meters which are linked by rapids “Tammerkoski”, a very important power source throughout history.
Tampere is often dubbed the “Manchester of the North” for its industrial past. It’s also the “Sauna Capital of the World”, with the most public saunas worldwide.
Helsinki is approximately 160 km south of Tampere and can be reached by car within 2 hours.
I wish you a pleasant walk, enjoy the scenery, have a great day and happy holidays!
