Good night and welcome back, dear Scene Walker
From the title of this video you can guess how special this night walk was.
In the time i’ve spent in Southern Finland, i’ve only witnessed the Northern Lights glittering in the night sky a few times.
However, tonight i witnessed the largest sighting ever; it was the first time i experienced the Northern Lights on this scale and over such a long period of time.
Colors dancing all around us.
There was also a particularly stormy wind present, they weren’t kidding about calling it a solar storm.
To see the Aurora on such a large scale this late in the year is extra special.
It turns out that the Aurora reading was so high that this hasn’t happened in the last 20 years.
Due to the extremely low lighting conditions, there was a lot of noise in the video and i ended up using quite heavy noise reduction.
Still, i am very happy to capture this unique moment on camera and share it with you.
