Welcome dear traveler.
If you’ve been watching the scenes then you must have noticed one thing i missed, the sun, which i haven’t been able to film for over 2 months now.
So i decided to look in my archives and it reminded me of this scene from last year.

Right after it was published, i was a little upset about how i exported the footage.
In other words, the video fell short of how BEAUTIFUL the day was.
So i decided to try again and i think it turned out better this time (the raw images were severely underexposed).

I think this is the kind of day most people dream about when traveling to Finland.
Lots of snow, a radiant sun and epic landscapes.
Sadly, the southern region in Finland will not look like this for a long time.
It occasionally happens every winter, but you have to time it right (get lucky).
The chance to witness these kind of days in November and December is almost nil.
You have the best chance in February and March, because the sun will shine more often.
Being so close to the sea also means a milder climate compared to the northern regions of Finland.
Therefore, the snow is more prone to melting during warmer periods.

I myself experienced this day as the most beautiful of 2022, i really enjoyed filming and also getting the chance.
Later that evening i also managed to film in the beautiful old wooden town of Tammisaari (Ekenäs).
