We are currently in the final stages of midwinter; from February onwards the sun shines more often.
Today is such a sunny day, but don’t be fooled by the spring-like birdsong and sunshine, it’s still freezing cold at -17°c.
Helsinki has many interesting neighborhoods, and the Tapanila neighborhood is an example of one.
The area is dominated by mainly wooden carpenter-style houses, built by the early 20th century workers who came to live here.
Beautiful traditional wooden houses, painted in bright, colorful shades.
It seems like the perfect place to get lost in, don’t you think?
