Greetings, today i welcome you to an “almost” winter wonderland ❄️ hope you are warm on!
It’s the first snowfall in Southern Finland this season.
Winter has started fairly early compared to previous years.
it is currently 8:30 am on a Tuesday morning with a freezing temperature of -2°c.

We enter the forest called Lemmenlaakso, I have recorded several walks here throughout the year.
I will link some of them in the description below if you’re interested.
Lemmenlaakso translates to “Love Valley”, i like to come here regularly for being out of town, it’s not big but not very small either.

Rehabilitation of recreational routes and structures, existing walking trails and boardwalks in Lemmenlaakso will be renovated during 2021-2024.
As well as rehabilitating the overall health of the forest, which benefits not only the vegetation but also wildlife.
In 2017 a frisbee golf course was founded just outside the nature reserve.
